We have submitted a pre-application for a proposal to create a two-storey office annex to Kirkland House, Harrow. The building will accommodate two floors of new office accommodation facing on to a new communal garden. A basement level is also proposed which will house staff facilities such as showers and changing rooms.

The Annex

In order to be more sensitive to the local context but also create a ‘sister’ annex to the existing building, a red pigmented concrete is proposed that will be similar or complementary to the existing red brickwork.

A garden sits in front of the annex and between it and the existing building, to be shared by all occupants.
