We have designed a new primary school for the city of Kvart in Montenegro as part of an international competition.  This exciting design accommodates 1200 students with sports facilities and library.  The design evolved by looking at the environmental parameters of the site and the local vernacular. We envisaged a civic building complete with a clock tower for the city.  The scalloped terracotta coloured roofscape is inspired by the terracotta tiles ubiquitous within the urban landscape.
