Carbon Neutral Home in St Albans

We are excited to have submitted a planning application for this new build net zero carbon home in St Albans, which aims to breakdown perceptions of what is feasible in a suburban location while achieving it on a sensible budget.

The proposal replaces an existing traditional semi-detached house in St Albans with a timber framed building that is highly insulated, airtight and uses air source heat pumps, mechanical ventilation and heat recovery (MVHR) and solar arrays. We are seeking to minimise the use of steel and cement and source materials locally where possible. The house provides the Client's family with a generous 4 bedroom home with open plan living, separate lounge and utility space.
